“Woman is the full circle. Within her is the power to create, nurture and transform.”- Diane Mariechild

Well, it is a story of a women who’s perfectly imperfect life made her who, and what she is today. It’s a story of a women who in pursuit of her dreams and aspirations made other people realize that if you think your life is hard and you’re giving up on that because you think your life is unfair. Think again

Sometime problems are not too big, we are too small to handle it. Real happiness doesn’t lie in success, money, fame it lies in gratitude.

Muniba Mazari

“They called me disabled I call myself differently able. They see my disability, I see my ability.” She was 18 years old when she got married. She decided to get married just because her parents wanted. And of course, it wasn’t happy marriage. Just about after two years of getting married. She met a car accident. Somehow her husband fell asleep and the car fell in a ditch. He managed to jump out, saved himself, she was happy for him. But she stayed inside the car and sustained a lot of injuries. Her wrist was fractured shoulder bone and collar bone were fractured, whole rib was fractured due to which lungs and liver were badly injured. she couldn’t breathe. She lost urinal bowel control, 3 vertebrae of her backbone were completely crushed, and she got paralyzed for the rest of her life. She finally ended up in a hospital where she stayed for two and half months. She underwent multiple surgeries. Doctor said,” you wanted to be an artist, I heard but and have bad news for you, you can’t paint again because your wrist and arm are so deformed, you won’t be able to hold a pen.” Next day he came he came to her and said “your spine injury is so bad you won’t be able to work again. you won’t even be able to give birth to a child. That day, she was down. She asked her mother, “Why me? Why am I even alive?” Her mother said, “God has greater plan for you. I don’t know what it is, but he surely has.” She was tired of staying in hospital ask her brothers to add some colors in her life that she rallies want to paint. And the first painting she made was ‘On my death bed’.

Somehow, she was discharged. Doctors wanted her to lie down on the bed straight for 2 years. Lying in bed she thought of going out with her family, that was the time she realized how lucky people are and they don’t even consider themselves lucky. She decided to fight her fears, she wrote down all her fears. Her biggest fear was divorce, but she liberated herself by siting him free. And she made herself emotionally so strong. The day, her husband was getting married, she wished him all the best and she prayed for him. Next fear was she won’t able to be a mother again. She realized there are so many children in the world all they want is acceptance and she adopt one. She stared NGO for disability awareness, she started to appear more in public, started to paint. Joined the National TV of Pakistan as an anchor Person and done lot’s of shows. She become the National goodwill Ambassador for UN Women, Pakistan, and now she speak for the right of women children. She is Happiest that she’s lost in her life. She’s none other than Muniba Mazari , an Iron Lady of Pakistan.
